There are three main directions from which the museum may be approached.

From Arromanches, travelling East along the D414 coast road, pass through the village of ASNELLES (the site of the 231 brigade landings, but sadly no museum) and turn RIGHT opposite 50th Infantry Division way. Take the FIFTH turning left (Rue d'America) and you will see the museum in front of you. If you missed the right turn off the main road, continue to the traffic lights by the monuments, turn right and proceed as below.

From Courseulles, travelling West along the D514 coast road, go through the traffic lights in Graye sur Mer, and again straight ahead at the traffic lights by the campsite. At the next set of trafic lights (there are two monuments to British units here, and a restored Sexton SPG) turn LEFT and go up the hill towards the village. Take the third turning on the RIGHT into the Rue du Moulin. Go carefully along here, the local school is protected by speed humps! At the T-Junction turn LEFT, and LEFT again into the Rue d'America.

Finally, approaching from the South on the D112 from Crepon. Descend the hill towards the village and follow the main road past the church. Immediately after the chateau on left, take the RIGHT fork at the war memorial. Follow this road (Rue de la Huitième Armée) for about 100 yards into the Place Byrd. The museum is on your left.
